The core values of the studio:
𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓬𝓲𝓻𝓬𝓵𝓮: It represents wholeness, unity, unbroken bonds, eternity. That's what I wish to make people feel in my studio. The sense of being a part of a family. Building strong bonds which will last for eternity. To bring a sense of wholeness.
𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓭𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓮𝓻: This is one of my favourite asanas and if you look closely, you'll notice the dancer with an afro. I remember when I started my journey; I had so many people asking me if black people can also do yoga. This was not only an odd question but an eye opener that some people thought and still think that yoga is not for black people. The dancer represents me. A young black girl that is dancing to her own tune, wishing to help others do the same. I hope to help people realise that yoga is for all people, irrespective of where you come from or what you look like. Yoga is for EVERYONE.
𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓛𝓸𝓽𝓾𝓼 𝓯𝓵𝓸𝔀𝓮𝓻: It symbolises purity, self-regeneration, rebirth and enlightenment. With the lotus flower growing in muddy waters and still rising to the surface looking ever so beautiful. The flower represents all of us rising from the battles of life, the muddy waters that almost consumed us and we still chose to rise up. Yoga has helped me slay my dragons and it continues to do so. Let's all fight our demons, slay dragons and conquer together.
Join our family. Let us love, laugh, learn and most importantly, let us grow together.
